Chief Minister Sindh summons provincial cabinet meeting today

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has summoned the provincial cabinet meeting on Monday.

As per details, Chief Minister Sindh will chair the meeting. The meeting will discuss the ongoing situation amid the coronavirus also known as COVID-19.

The arrests made in the murder case of US Journalist Daniel Pearl will also come under discussion in the meeting.

Sindh Epidemic Disease Amendment Ordinance 2020, Corona Virus Emergency Fund case is also included in the agenda.

Property, professional and motor vehicle tax rebates from April to June 25% and entertainment tax 100% will be considered in the meeting.

To give special powers under Section 144 to the officers for strict lockdown will also come in discussion in the meeting.

Fee discounts by private schools, wheat procurement are on the agenda of the cabinet meeting.

The cabinet will meet at 11 am.

Earlier Murad Ali Shah directed for formulation of Standard Operating Procedures for resumption of public transport in the province.

Murad Ali Shah said that provincial government will address reservations of transporters on priority basis.

The Chief Minister said permission has been given for online business in the province.

He appealed to people to take all precautionary measures.

Moreover, The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan has passed the tally of 13000, with the death toll of 281.

3,029 people recovered in Pakistan.

However 2.8 million people have been infected globally.
