CM Sindh directs to tighten lockdown further, Murtaza Wahab
Spokesperson of Sindh Government Barrister Murtaza Wahab said Sindh government or the federal government did not give any permission related to ease or end the coronavirus lockdown.
In a video message Barrister Murtaza Wahab explains of exception of sector and shops which will remain opened during lockdown.
He said the impression of allowing barber, washer, tailor, sanitary, plumber, mechanic and carpenter shops to open is false.
Murtaza Wahab said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s announcement triggered an impression that the lockdown was over, adding that the impression of ending or easing the lockdown is incorrect.
Chief Minister Sindh yesterday made it clear that lockdown will be further tightened, Barrister Murtaza Wahab added.
He said the Prime Minister insisted that the construction sector and export industries be allowed to open so that Sindh government allowed construction and export industries to operate on the direction of the Prime Minister.
However, the construction sector and export industries will have to comply with all SOPs released by the Sindh Home Department, the spokesperson stated.
Murtaza Wahab stated that government agencies are suddenly authorized to inspect these sectors for SOP review and companies that are exempted from the lockdown will have to follow it at all costs.
Barrister Murtaza Wahab reiterated human lives re more precious to us and lockdown is strongly needed to cope with the Coronavirus pandemic.
Owners of milk, yogurt, grocery, medical stores, and vegetable shops also need to maintain social distance use cautionary masks and precautions, he dded.
Murtaza Wahab appealed the public not to leave the house and turn off unnecessary activities for a few days.
