A report released by the Director General Health Services Sindh revealed the findings related to coronavirus-infected patients.

According to Director General Health Services Sindh, 64 percent of people infected by the Coronavirus are under the age of 50, while 68 children aged one to nine years are infected by the COVID-19.

According to the report, 103 people between the ages of 10 and 19 have been infected with the Coronavirus and 269 young people between the ages of 20 and 29 have been infected with the virus.

Report further stated that 267 people aged 30 to 39 years and 191 people aged 40 to 49 have been diagnosed with the Coronavirus.

“164 people between the ages of 50 and 59 have been diagnosed with the virus while 135 people between the ages of 60 to 69 have been diagnosed with the coronavirus,” report said

DG Health report says 129 people over the age of 70 have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

So far, 926 men and 400 women have been infected with the COVID-19, according to the DG Health report.

Earlier today, Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that we need to realise that the pandemic is a global problem and it has nothing to do with just one province.

While addressing media, Chief Minister Sindh said “We cannot make decisions in isolation, the pandemic is affecting everybody.”

He said  “We started working on the issue when the first case was reported.”

“We formed a task force, took help from wherever we could.”

Sindh CM said “I did not have experience in dealing with a pandemic neither did my close aides — so we learned from the world’s experience,”

“We have been blamed for enforcing a lockdown without thinking — that is not true. There is only one way to deal with a pandemic”

Murad Ali Shah said The economy will recover, but human beings cannot come back.

The Federal government created its program, but it does not consider social distance.

We also told the federal government that the lockdown was not 100% effective.

I can assure that all the tests conducted on WHO guidelines.

Moreover CM Sindh said I can assure that 90 percent of the tests conducted free.
