Sindh Education Department has directed private schools to cut the school fees across the province by 20% during the holidays.

According to the details, the Sindh Education Department took action and directed all private schools to give at least 20% concession in the monthly fees of April and May.

A spokesman for the Sindh Education Department says that all private schools also liable to pay salaries on time to the teaching and non-teaching staff.

He added that there will be strict action taken against schools that will not pay timely salaries to staff or go against the directives of fee concession.

Spokesperson said that  parents can lodge complains to the Directorate Private Institutions.

Directorate Private Institutions Sindh says a complaint cell has been set up which includes Riaz Ahmed, Mohib Ali and Waqar.

Earlier, Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar announced that his government has decided that it will cut the school fees across the province by 20% during the ongoing holidays.

The CM, in a tweet, said that the schools have also been instructed to collect the fees a monthly basis. He added that the schools have also been directed to pay the salary of all its staff and teachers on time, and have been barred from firing them.
