Strict action will be taken against hoarders says Dr Firdous

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that strict action will be taken against hoarders.

She said in her tweets;

“Hoarders profiting illegally through ordinance, will be strictly punished”

“Up to 3 years in prison on storage and fined up to 50% of the value of the seized goods.”

“The move was made to facilitate the people in view of the situation arising out of Coronavirus.”

“The uninterrupted delivery of the essential items is the government’s primary responsibility.”

Dr Firdous also appealed to the public to highlight any attempt of hoarding they find, and get 10 percent of the seized goods as a reward.

The ordinance against hoarding demonstrates the prime minister’s commitment to protect the public from inflation and low prices.

The one who takes advantage of the problems of the people does not deserve any relief.

Earlier Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says government is taking steps to protect the people from outbreak of coronavirus and save them from hunger.

In a tweet, she said whole nation engaged in the war against coronavirus, while the PML- N leadership worried about Sharif family.

Furthermore She said Opposition Leader after his return from England has preferred to remain in self-isolation.

Special Assistant said those who used the law for personal benefits should know that in Naya Pakistan national institutions are free and law is supreme.

Moreover She urged Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to ask Sharif family to return the looted money of the nation.
