Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for Lahore today for a one-day visit.
Sources say that Imran Khan will conduct a meeting in Lahore with Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar at Governor House.
According to details, CM and the Governor will give a briefing regarding the government’s measures. After that, PM Imran Khan will also visit the PM corona relief fund control room in the Governor House.
Furthermore, the Premier will also meet leaders of Insaaf tiger force Lahore and will also visit field hospitals created in the Expo Center.
Apart from that, twenty prominent personalities will also provide checks for the donation of corona relief funds.
The Youth Affairs Ministry announced on Saturday that registration for Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ‘Corona Relief Tigers’ team has begun from March 31.
According to the Youth Affairs Ministry, citizens would be able to work as volunteers (Corona Relief Tigers) for the force through the PM Office portal by filling out a digital form.
“Those interested will have to provide their name, age, phone number and union council on the form to register for the force. Only those above the age of 18 can register for the force,” the ministry said, and the registration will close on April 10.
The volunteers from each UC would be assigned with task of delivering food to the homes of the most affected people of society amid coronavirus..
