Sindh High Court (SHC) has suspended the Sindh government’s order to reduce school fees 20% due to coronavirus lockdown.
SHC has also issued notices to the Department of Education and others and ordered Sindh govt to submit their response by April 22.
Earlier, Sindh Education Department has directed private schools to cut the school fees across the province by 20% during the holidays.
The Sindh Education Department took action and directed all private schools to give at least 20% concession in the monthly fees of April and May.
A spokesman for the Sindh Education Department says that all private schools also liable to pay salaries on time to the teaching and non-teaching staff.
He added that there will be strict action taken against schools that will not pay timely salaries to staff or go against the directives of fee concession.
The Spokesperson said that parents can lodge Complaints to the Directorate of Private Institutions.
Directorate Private Institutions of Sindh says a complaint cell has been set up which includes Riaz Ahmed, Mohib Ali and Waqar.
