Sindh Police personnel have extended salutations to the doctors, nurses and paramedics engaged in providing treatment facilities to COVID-19 patients at Karachi’s area of Teen Talwar.

On the occasion commissioner Karachi, adviser to Chief Minister Sindh on Law & Environment Senator Murtaza Wahab and other officials were also present.

Prior to this, the Punjab Police has presented guard of honor to doctors, nurses and paramedic staffs performing special duty at quarantine centers here at a ceremony held at trauma center Lahore.

Punjab police also presented flowers bouquet to them and also hoisted  white flags at all police stations to express solidarity with them.

Earlier, Secretary primary health care has confirmed that two doctors have been tested positive for Covid-19 in D.G. Khan.

Primary health care spokesperson said that Dr. Usama and Dr. Saba have been diagnosed positive. Dr. Usama was working in the quarantine in D.G. Khan whereas Dr. Saba was serving in the isolation ward.

Dr Usama who lost life treating COVID-19 patients to be conferred with civil award

Sources say that both the doctors are out of danger, and are kept in the isolation ward.

The spokesperson said that they are proud of doctors and healthcare workers working on the frontline in this critical situation. Every possible step is being taken to protect them.
