Special Assistant to PM on Youth Affairs Usman Dar has said the Coronavirus Tiger Force will jump into action from today after a successful trial run in Sialkot yesterday.

“Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will officially launch the Tiger Force,” Dar said.

“We will incorporate the youth of the nation step by step into the force,” he said, adding, that students, social workers, teachers, engineers and doctors have registered for the Tiger Force.

“Journalists, medical workers and those associated with NGOs have also registered,” Usman Dar added.

Usman Dar said the Coronavirus Tiger Force will also help the deserving families get themselves registered with Ehsaas Cash Emergency Program.

The Special Assistant said this force comprises of teachers, health workers, engineers, lawyers, doctors and people belonging to other segments of the society.

Earlier; The Prime Minister House has issued directives to All Provincial Chief Secretaries to mobilize Corona Relief Fund Tiger Force.

According to the directives Tiger Force will fielded as soon as Prime Minister receives instructions.

Provincial governments should keep the force on standby by completing arrangements.

Time for registration of Force also ended.

TORs containing Code of Conduct for Tiger Force also issued. Membership will suspended if the Code of Conduct not implemented.

The Force will work at the provincial, district, and union council levels.

The Tiger force will ensure ration provision in emergency, quarantine management and transport management. It will have full support from the administration.

Furthermore The Deputy Commissioner, DPO, and relevant public representatives will work with the Force.
