Confirmed cases in the county jumped past 62,000 on Thursday after new cases were detected in Sindh.

According to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, 1,103 new cases were reported in the province in the last 24 hours to take the provincial tally to 25,309. He added there were 13,723 patients under treatment in the province at the moment.

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said that Today, for the first time, 1924 patients recovered and went home. The condition of 227 patients is critical with 39 on ventilators. Another 16 patients died in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 4101 tests performed in which 1103 patients emerged positive. So far 396 corona patients have died in Sindh.

249 new cases reported in Malir, 201 in District South, and 175 in District East. 131 more cases were reported in District Central, 100 in Korangi, and 49 in District West. 32 more cases were reported in Hyderabad, 21 in Shikarpur, and 20 in Larkana. 19 new cases were reported in Sukkur, 18 in Ghotki, and 11 in Jacobabad. 7-7 cases were reported in Jamshoro and Qambar-Shahdadkot while 4 more cases were reported in Khairpur.

Dadu, Mirpur Khas 2-2 while Nowshero Feroze, Sanghar, Nawabshah, and Thatta reported one case each. The increase in cases is the result of public negligence. This epidemic cannot be defeated unless we are careful. It is better to take precautions strictly.
