Sheikh Rasheed also said that we have to tackle the increasing coronavirus cases in Pakistan. The Religious scholars have played vital role in conveying message to the masses. About 545 recoveries have been recorded in Pakistan, the government’s Covid-19 portal said. The total number of recoveries in the country has gone up to 17,198, while the death toll stands at 1131.
As per details, Sindh leads with the number of infections, having a tally of 21645, followed by Punjab; 19557; Balochistan 3306; KP 7685; Islamabad 1457; GB 619; and AJK 171. Moreover Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leads with the death toll due to novel coronavirus at 389; followed by Sindh 354; Punjab 332; Balochistan 39: Gilgit-Baltistan 4; Islamabad 12 and AJK with 1.
Let it be known that A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft, flying from Lahore to Karachi, crashed near the port city’s airport in the densely populated area of Model Colony on Friday. The plane was close to landing when it came down among houses, sparking an explosion and sending plumes of smoke into the air that could be seen from some distance away. The incident claimed 97 lives.
