Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Sunday called Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser and inquired about his health.

According to details, the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa telephoned NA speaker and prayed for his early recovery as Asad Qaiser is suffering from coronavirus. Asad Qaiser in response thanked Army Chief for his wishes and prayers.

Earlier Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Sunday has inquired about the health of National Assembly (NA) Speaker Asad Qaiser, who is suffering from coronavirus. The premier telephoned NA speaker and prayed for his early recovery from the virus. Asad Qaiser told the PM that he is feeling better and his health is improving.  On April 30, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser also tested positive for the novel coronavirus. “My coronavirus test has come back positive. I have quarantined myself in my house,” Qaiser tweeted.

On April 27, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail tested positive for coronavirus. Governor Sindh told this on his official twitter account.

On the other hand,  Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Sardar Dost Mazari has tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Sunday. Sardar Dost Mazari tested positive for the coronavirus in government laboratory. On the other hand, his test, which was carried out by a private laboratory, came out negative.

Deputy Speaker Dost Mazari has said that he is not showing any symptoms of coronavirus and is in good health. However, he self-isolated himself after the result of tests.
