In a Tweet by Director General Inter Services Public relations (DG ISPR), COAS condoles over the loss of precious lives and shares grief of bereaved families in this difficult time.
COAS Bajwa has also directed provision of full assistance to civil administration in rescue/relief effort.

At least 90 people have died after a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight crashed near Karachi Airport. The airplane crashed over a residential colony.
Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan confirmed that at least 90 people have been killed in PIA plane crash today.
According to reports, the plane had the capacity to carry more than 200 passengers.
At least five homes and some vehicles have been destroyed due to the crash. The PIA flight PK-8303 took off from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport at 1:10pm and was scheduled to land in Karachi.
