Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visits Kohat today (May 07).
According to the details, a detailed briefing was given on Army Chief’s operational readiness.

He was also briefed on Pak-Afghan security measures.

ISPR said, A briefing was also given on the support of civil administration in view of coronavirus pandemic in Kohat.

The Army Chief met with the soldiers engaged in the relief operation to fight against COVID-19.

The COAS appreciated the high moral of the soldiers, ISPR said.

The statement said that the Army Chief also visited CMH Kohat.

Earlier, Spokesperson Pakistan Armed Forces Major General Babar Iftikhar said that India has carried out 456 ceasefire violations since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in the country on February 26.

Maj-Gen Babar stated that whenever there have been internal problems in India it has held Pakistan responsible for it.

Addressing a press briefing Director General of Pakistan Army Media Wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar said that India’s attempt to connect Muslims and Pakistan to the spread of the coronavirus has failed.
