Pakistan reported 78 more deaths from coronavirus in one day. A total of 1,395 people has lost their lives in Pakistan due to Covid-19 so far.

According to the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has reached 66,457.

In addition to this, 2,429 new Covid-19 cases have been reported in 24 hours.

Over 532,037 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in Pakistan and 12,020 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours. Apart from that, 24,131 have recovered.

According to details, Sindh has the highest number of positive cases. The number of positive cases is 26,113 whereas 427 people have died in the province.

Also, Punjab has 24,104 confirmed cases whereas 439 people have died.

Furthermore, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 9,063 confirmed positive cases, and 445 coronavirus deaths have been reported.

Balochistan has reported 4,087 confirmed cases whereas 46 patients have died in the province

Apart from that, the capital Islamabad has 2,192 confirmed Covid-19 patients whereas 23 people have died.

Moreover, Gilgit-Baltistan has 660 Covid-19 cases whereas 9 people have died so far.

Above all, Azad Jammu & Kashmir have reported 234 number of coronavirus cases whereas 6 patients have died.

Study says coronavirus pandemic puts 86m children at risk of poverty

As many as 86 million more children could face poverty by the end of 2020 due to the economic crisis resulted from coronavirus pandemic. A joined study by Save the Children and UNICEF discovered the fact.

The study is based on World Bank and International Monetary Fund projections as well as population data from some 100 countries.
