First cargo ship carrying wheat reaches Gawadar

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Lieutenant General (retired) Asim Saleem Bajwa informed that the first bulk cargo ship “MV Manet” carrying wheat and urea of Afghan Transit trade has reached Gawadar port.

SAPM Saleem Bajwa broke the news in his recent tweet. He said, “First bulk-cargo ship “MV Manet” carrying wheat n urea of Afghan Transit trade reached Gwadar this week-a dream come true for local economy as it will stimulate host of business activity…”

Future of CPEC is very bright says Shah Mahmood Qureshi

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has rejected the impression that there would be any stoppage of trade between Pakistan and China in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.

Radio Pakistan reported that in an interview to Global Times in Beijing, he said the two great nations have maintained transport and trade links despite outbreak of virus.

About impact of the pandemic on the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, the foreign Minister said there is a temporary dip.

However, expressed hope that CPEC future very bright not only for both the countries but for the entire region as well.
