CEO Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Arshad Malik on Saturday said that I am obliged to provide all the documents that will be requested for investigation regarding plane crash incident.

CEO Arshad Malik while briefing media said that I will present whoever is held responsible for the incident which claimed 97 lives with 2 survivors.

DNA tests will be conducted over the dead bodies at University of Karachi, said CEO PIA.

On the other hand, Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan also joined the press conference along with CEO Arshad Malik on Saturday.

Ghulam Sarwar extends thankfulness to the rescue teams for their tireless operation since the crash. We will try to compensate the families of the deceased as much as we can, said Sarwar Khan.

On the direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the relief amount has been increased from Rs500,000 to Rs1 million for the victims’ families, said aviation minister.

Civil aviation and PIA engineers are also investigating the cause of the incident on their own. He added that I assure you that there will be a clear and transparent inquiry.

Negligence and shortcomings of civil aviation will also be taken under notice and they will have to pay for the the negligence has caused, said Ghulam Sarwar.

He further added, reports of previous crashes and recent incidents will come be highlighted soon.
