The government of Pakistan allowed to bring back the bodies of Pakistanis who lost their lives due to coronavirus outbreak.

According to details, on the direction of the federal government, the Civil Aviation Authority has issued a formal notification to bring back the dead bodies of Pakistanis who died from the coronavirus.

CAA Director Air Transport issued a notification by issuing strict SOPs to bring back the bodies of the deceased from COVID-19.

The body from abroad can be brought in the cargo or cargo plane of the passenger plane while the corpse affected by Corona will be transferred and unloaded by the airline staff in full protective clothing.

The airline will inform the Civil Aviation Authority 48 hours before bringing the body to Pakistan. Appropriate cloth and body bag will be used before placing the body in the plane and after removing the body, the plane will have to be thoroughly cleaned with disinfectant spray.

It is to be noted that coronavirus outbreak has killed 293,770 people around the globe and 737 in Pakistan, the virus has infected 34,336 people in the country.
