Sindh government has taken a big decision to open government offices.
According to the details, in the first phase, it was decided to open nine government departments and their secretariats
Government decided to open Zakat Department, Human Rights Department, Industry and Commerce Department, IT Department from tomorrow (May 11).
The Department of Investment, Social Welfare, Minority Affairs, the Department of Universities Boards and the Department of Works Services will open tomorrow.
After the approval of Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Sindh issued the notification.
The notification said, coronavirus prevention SOPs must be followed in all departments and secretariats.
Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, in a bid to facilitate traders and business community, announced to open all markets from Monday (May 11).
As per reports, markets, shops except malls will be open from Monday. The decision has been taken during a meeting between the chief minister and traders which was held on Sunday.The markets, including community stores and retail shops, will open from 6am to 4pm. Murad said that the provincial government took strict decisions in a bid to curb spread of the coronavirus and save lives of people. He urged public to practice social distancing.
