Govt. to provide Rs 12,000 for sacked citizens whilst lockdown
Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to give a special relief package to those who are currently unemployed and have lost their jobs due to ongoing Coronavirus lockdown in the country.
The government will provide Rs 12,000 per person to those who lost their jobs whilst lockdown and face financial disasters.
On the direction of the premier, a special portal has been prepared for the unemployed which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan himself today.
The federal government will provide Rs 12,000 to the unemployed monthly to meet their daily needs amidst this deadly pandemic.
Moreover, with the consent of the federal government, PM Imran Khan will formally announce the small business aid package today.
Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) had approved the package last week.
According to Federal Minister for Industries and Production Hammad Azhar, 95% of all commercial and 80% of all industrial connections in the country will benefit from the cash injection.
