Information Minister Shibli Faraz has emphasized on prevention to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
In a tweet on Sunday, Information Minister Shibli Faraz said the formula that prevention is better than treatment will have to be adopted to defeat Coronavirus.
The Minister said we will have to prove that we are a responsible nation, not a crowd. Senator Shibli Faraz said the golden principles of Faith, Unity, and Discipline will have to be followed.

Earlier Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health Dr. Zafar Mirza said on Sunday wearing masks is now mandatory at crowded public places and in public transport.
Taking to Twitter, he said: “Face masks are now mandatory to be worn by everybody while in crowded public places, mosques, bazaars, shopping malls, public transport ie road, rail, and flights.”

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad said in a tweet that Markets, public places, mosques, public transport, lorry depots, streets, roads, offices will be checked. Magistrates can be fined up to Rs 3,000 and sent to jail under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

According to the national dashboard 25,056 cases have so far been detected in Punjab, 27,360 in Sindh, 9,540 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4,193 in Balochistan, 2,418 in Islamabad, 678 in Gilgit Baltistan, and 251 in Azad Kashmir. 25,271 patients have so far recovered from the virus while the death toll stands at 1,483 with 88 deaths reported during the last twenty-four hours.
