Prime Minister Imran Khan while chairing the high-level meeting says the government eased the coronavirus lockdown phased wise in the country to maintain balance between economic activities and protective measures against the pandemic.
According to the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan has reviewed the prevailing situation of the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The premier said that protective measures are the only viable option to overcome the pandemic while imposition of lockdown is being considered as temporary arrangement against Coronavirus at international level, and .
He directed the concerned authorities to prepare a comprehensive strategy regarding provision and usage of ventilators to coronavirus patients in the hospitals.
During the meeting, the prime minister has also received the briefing on the prevailing Novel coronavirus pandemic situation, number of patients, provision of safety equipment to paramedical staff and doctors in various hospitals.
Note that, Pakistan’s death tally due to novel coronavirus now stands at 667 with confirmed cases passed the toll of 30000 on Monday.
As per details, The nationwide tally of Coronavirus has soared to 30,941 with 1,476 new cases reported during the last twenty four hours. 11,568 cases have so far been detected in Punjab, 11,480 in Sindh, 4,669 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,017 in Balochistan, 442 in Gilgit Baltistan, 679 in Islamabad and 86 in Azad Kashmir. 8,212 patients have so far recovered from the virus whilst the death toll stands at 667 with 28 new deaths reported during the last twenty four hours.
