PML-N Central Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal has said that Imran Khan is guilty in the sugar scandal.

According to details, PML-N Central Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal in a statement said that the government is insensitive, incompetent and failed and the government is blaming the opposition to cover up its theft.

Ahsan Iqbal said that PML-N gave subsidy for export of surplus sugar while there is a difference between PML-N’s subsidy and this government’s subsidy and export.

PML-N Central Secretary General also said that in our five years, the price of sugar has been Rs 52-50 per kg but now my question to Imran Sahib is very straightforward and simple as to why sugar went from Rs 50 to Rs 90 per kg.

The PML-N central secretary general also said that we kept shouting at the coronavirus to take security measures but the government also made fun of the lockdown.

Making sugar inquiry report public is a historic decision of PM Imran

Earlier, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shehzad Akbar has said that the report of the Sugar Crisis Commission is a charge sheet against PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

Talking to media in Lahore, Shehzad Akbar said that Shahid Khan Abbasi gave a subsidy of Rs. 20 billion on sugar to sugar mills on 24-hour notice without properly determining the production of sugar so that they could export.

Referring to paragraph 209 of the commission report, Shehzad Akbar said, “Shahid Khaqan Abbasi could not give an answer regarding the subsidy and did not produce any document.”
