Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani was addressing news conference in Karachi. While addressing media, he said the government is launching an application to facilitate students with digital class rooms. The app comprises of 3 language English, Urdu & Sindhi.Great initiative by Education Department.
Saeed Ghani said Various measures are being taken to save the loss of education. Government is launching an application to facilitate students. The app is the first step taken by the education department. Moreover he said Many students do not have access to the Internet, we are working on it. Sindh Government is in contact with mobile phone companies.
Saeed Ghani said in these times of crisis, we cannot afford to reopen schools as children can be easily get exposed to the virus. Digital classes are not a substitute for school; however the government is trying best to avoid the loss of curriculum. Even if the situation improves, we will not end the digital class option. Furthermore the education minister said Experts and doctors say Corona is a serious matter.
Earlier today All Private Schools Management Association Chairman Tariq Shah has appealed to the Sindh Education minister to reopen schools from Eid. “By the constant closure of schools smalls schools are facing financial stress,” said Shah, while addressing a press conference in Karachi.
Shah also asked why are schools closed if markets have been opened in the country.
