Federal Minister of Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that ill-fated Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft crashed during Landing in Karachi.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, Federal Minister of Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan said  51 bodies of the martyred of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) crash have been handed over to the families after DNA tests. We are trying to return the bodies to their families as soon as possible. After the approval of the cabinet, a board of inquiry was formed on the plane crash.  The two people on the plane miraculously survived.

He said Senior Pakistan Air Force officers are chairing the investigation board. The Board of Inquiry is independent and can include anyone. An Airbus team of foreign experts is also investigating. The crashed plane was built by a French company.

He added that The whole nation wants to know why the accident happened. Plane crash reports take time. The Prime Minister expressed his anger over the plane crash. The investigation into the plane crash will be transparent and impartial.

Taking a jibe at Sindh government, Federal Minister of Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan said the Sindh government wants to politicize every issue. He questioned that, When there was an accident in the PPP government, those responsible were punished? The matter should not be commented on until the investigation report is completed.

He said If there was a technical fault in the plane, everything will be revealed in the inquiry. The investigation will not be lenient with anyone. Both voice and data are on the recording, after decoding the facts will be revealed.
