Sindh reports 9 new COVID-19 deaths taking toll to 277

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah said on Sunday that 9 more patients of the coronavirus lost their lives in a single day, after which the provincial death toll reached 277. It was 268 yesterday.

As per details, The Chief Minister Sindh said that in the past 24 hours, 5034  tests conducted and 787 new cases of the novel coronavirus emerged in the province. However, till yesterday 4,467 tests were conducted and 674 were reported positive.

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah at least 114 patients of the novel coronavirus are in critical condition. Till now 122894 tests in total have been conducted from day first; of which 16377 reported positive.

Murad Ali Shah said said that currently there are 11891 patients under-treatment in the province. 838 patients are being treated in isolation centers and 568 hospitals, while 10485 patients are treated at homes. In Karachi, 515 new corona cases were reported.  109 patients were reported in Central District, 147 in East, 44 in Korangi, 52 in Malir, 121 in South and 42 in West. 31 new cases were reported in Shikarpur, 25 in Larkana, 25 in Sukkur, 16 in Hyderabad and 14 in Ghotki. Similarly Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah added; Similarly, 3 new cases emerged in Qambar Shahdadkot 13, Khairpur 6 and Jamshoro reported 3 new cases.

Moreover The Sindh Chief Minister appealed to the people to take precautionary measures.  Murad Ali Shah urged that Protect yourself from Corona and help save others from Corona as well.

Earlier Sindh Health Department said that people ranging from ages 11 to 90 years have died from the coronavirus. The department said that from the age group of 61 to 70 years, 70 people fell victim to the virus.
