Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Wednesday.
As per details , Rashid Rabbani who is the Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah for political affairs is tested positive for the novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19..
Following the revelation, he has been shifted into self-isolation at his house. Samples of his family members have also been taken. Their COVID-19 results, however, are still pending. Rashid Rabbani’s office is located inside Chief Minister House. According to sources, following his positive report, all the staff who had been working closely with him will now be tested. Moreover It is expected that Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah along with all other office bearers will also be tested for the virus.
On the other hand Sindh government spokesperson has said that a decision to ease the nationwide lockdown will be taken after a consensus from all the chief ministers during today’s meeting at the National Command and Operation Centre. “All the provinces gave their recommendations in the meeting today,” the spokesperson said. “A decision will be taken on a national level after looking at the recommendations put forward,” he said, adding that a discussion over how to facilitate during the lockdown was also put forward.
