Canada has announced support for medical personnel fighting Corona in Pakistan.

The Canadian High Commission has said that Canada will provide 850,000 for medical personnel working on the front line war against Corona in Pakistan, and that this amount will be used by Canada to assist Pakistani medical personnel through the WHO.

The Canadian High Commission said it was assisting the Pakistani government in responding to the Corona response plan.

It may be recalled that the Ministry of National Health and Emergency Service has issued a report on the deadly attack on health care workers of Coronavirus.

In the last 24 hours, 117 new cases have been reported by healthcare workers suffering from COVID-19, bringing the number of doctors and paramedical staff infected with the corona virus to 2,561.

According to the report, the death toll from the corona virus has risen to 25, including doctors, while 78 more doctors have been infected, bringing the total to 1,510.

The number of nurses infected with the coronavirus has also reached 352, while a total of 699 members of the medical staff have been infected with the corona virus and 231 medical personnel are being treated at various hospitals.

The report said that 8 health care workers are on ventilators due to critical condition while 1368 people have been quarantined at their homes and other places and 937 have returned home after recovering.

It may be recalled that the total number of deaths from corona in the country so far has reached 1688 while the number of patients has reached 80463 after new cases came to light.
