Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Dr Zafar Mirza has said that a committee has been formed for the prevention of corona virus during Eid-ul-Adha.
On Monday he said the government will soon formulate a strategy for Eid-ul-Adha, adding that he is in touch with all stakeholders including scholars.
He said that the effects of smart lockdown may not be felt soon but in the cities where smart lockdown has imposed , the number of corona cases has come down.

Dr Zafar Mirza said that SOPs have been set up to avoid coronavirus as it takes time for people’s attitudes to change. He said that people in Pakistani society do not even follow the laws. Dr Zafar Mirza said that there is no specific cure for the corona virus yet.
State Health Minister said Clinical trials of experimental drugs are underway, while suspicions are being raised about chloroquine. The Dexamethasone was investigated in the UK and reduced the death rate. Dexamethasone is also present in Pakistan.
He said that the government is taking action against the hoarders and had set up a hotline to address the issue. We have created a system under which there will be no shortage of medicines.
Dr Zafar Mirza said that plasma therapy has limited benefits, adding that 30,000 tests are being conducted daily in Pakistan and soon there will be more than one lakh tests on a daily basis. He also expressed hopes that by mid July or its end, Pakistan will witness a decrease in coronavirus cases.
