PM Imran Khan directed the federal cabinet to make the people aware of the facts on the recent petrol crisis.
According to details, a meeting of the federal cabinet was held under the chairmanship of PM Imran Khan on the recent shortage of petrol in the country.
Nadeem Babar and Federal Minister for Energy presented a progress report and briefed the Prime Minister on the petrol crisis.
The Prime Minister was informed in the briefing that raid teams have carried out several raids, several companies had stockpiled petrol. Petrol is now available in most parts of the country.
A report on fines was also submitted to the Prime Minister Imran Khan.
PM Imran Khan said that artificial shortage of petrol is not acceptable in any case, the people should be informed of the facts and immediate relief should be provided.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that petrol was also stored in the past.
Ministry of Petroleum should accept the responsibility, he added.
Babr Awan said, Ministry of Petroleum told to resolve the petrol issue in 3 days.
It is to be noted that Federal Minister for Petroleum Omar Ayub said that the Petrol crisis will be over in the next three days.
He said strict action will be taken against hoarders. He said the government has initiated action against those stocking petroleum reserves which led to an artificial shortage.
