The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi summoned Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

NAB has summoned Murad Ali Shah for questioning in connection with its investigation into a case pertaining to the multi-billion fake bank accounts scam and alleged embezzlement in a solar light project.

NAB instructed CM Sindh to appear before its joint investigation team tomorrow at 11 am.

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah accused of illegally awarding contracts for purchase and distribution of solar lights in the province.

The Chief Minister will accompanied by Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah and Legal Adviser Murtaza Wahab.

On the other hand NAB has re-summoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif on June 9 in money laundering and assets beyond income cases.

The decision taken after LHC granted pre-arrest bail to Shehbaz Sharif over surety bond worth Rs 0.5 million till June 17 in the same cases.
