Pakistan lodges strong protest against India over ceasefire violations

Pakistan summoned Indian Charge d Affaires Gaurav Ahluwalia and lodged strong protest over the ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control.

In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Aisha Farooqui said four innocent civilians embraced martyrdom while another injured in indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by the Indian occupation forces in Bagsar and Nikial Sectors of the Line of Control yesterday.

Aisha Farooqui said the Indian occupation forces along the LoC and the Working Boundary have been continuously targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars and automatic weapons.

This year, India has committed 1410 ceasefire violations to date, resulting in 12 shahadats and serious injuries to more than hundred innocent civilians.

On Wednesday 4 civilians including a woman martyred in ceasefire violations by the Indian Army along the (LoC).

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian forces violated the ceasefire on the LoC by firing indiscriminately in Nikial & Bagsar Sectors and targeting the civilian population.

The ISPR spokesman further said that 4 innocent civilians incl a woman in Ratta Jabbar & Lewana Khaiter vill embraced shahadat, 1 civilian got injured. Pak Army troops responded effectively to Indian firing.

Note that, Chief of the Army staff (COAs) General Qamar Javed Bajwa chaired Corps Commander‘s Conference at General Headquarters Rawalpindi today, military media wing stated.
