Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi announced that Kartarpur Sahib Corridor will be opened for Sikh pilgrims on 29th June.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said in an official tweet that Kartarpur Sahib Corridor will be reopened as places of worship are being reopened across the world.
“As places of worship open up across the world, Pakistan prepares to reopen the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor for all Sikh pilgrims, conveying to the Indian side our readiness to reopen the corridor on 29 June 2020”.
In addition to this, he also said that the corridor is being reopened on the occasion of the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh.
