Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah confirmed that 2287 new cases, taking the provincial tally to 57868.

According to the details, the chief minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah said 33 more patients succumbed to the virus, and Sindh’s death toll has reached 886 .

Murad Ali Shah said, 27737  people are under treatment, among the patients under treatment are 26170 at homes and 69 at centers. 109 patients are currently on ventilators and 1230 patients have recovered today. The total number of recovered patients in Sindh has reached 29245 .

The number of coronavirus patients in Karachi has reached 42,854. Out of 2287 cases across the province, 1436 new cases have been reported in Karachi. New cases were reported in East District 499, South District 387 and Central District 260. More  113 cases were reported in Malir, Korangi 91 and West District 86. There were 85 more cases in Hyderabad, 72 in Ghotki, 40 in Badin and 33 in Larkana. In Jamshoro 23, Shikarpur 21 and Nowshero Feroze 18 new cases emerged. 15-15 new cases were reported in Sanghar and Dadu, 13-13 in Khairpur and Sukkur.

Furthermore 11-11 cases of coronavirus reported in Matiari and Kashmore, 9 in Mirpur Khas and 8 more in Jacobabad. Qambar Shahdad Kot 7, Thatta 4, Tando Allahyar and Umerkot 3-3, one new case each appeared in Sujawal and Tando Muhammad Khan.

In addition to this, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah  has appealed people to abide by the SOPs. He said the increase in Corona cases is due to carelessness and negligence.
