The district administration has formulated a strategy to implement smart lockdown in all districts of Karachi

According to the details, Commissioner Karachi has sent the recommendations of the district administration to the Chief Secretary Sindh. BOL News has obtained a copy of the recommendations.

According to the recommendations made by the district administration, many areas of Karachi including the limits of the cantonment board has proposed to seal.

The districts which have been declared hotspots in view of the coronavirus are being sealed to protect the people and save lives.

The district administration has identified coronavirus hotspots in several districts of Karachi, including 21 in Malir district, 19 in Korangi district, 21 in the district east, 33 in district west and 11 in the district south.

According to the recommendations of the district administration, it has been proposed to seal the road No. 9 and all commercial areas of UC Bhains Colony in Malir district.

UCs and areas of Malir District including all the commercial markets of UC Gulshan Hadid Phase I and II of Malir District, Jinnah Square Commercial Market in Jafar Tayyar, D Area in UC Muzaffarabad and Old Area are included in the coronavirus hotspots.

Other UCs of Malir District include Jacob Line Market, Majeed Colony Sector One and Two Market, all shops on Rehri Goth Road, all shops from Hospital Chowrangi to Hussaini Chowrangi, Dawood Chowrangi in UC3 to 89 Petrol Pump, UC4, Quaidabad, Gosht Gali, Murghi Khana and all mobile markets in the area are proposed to close.

In Korangi district Nasir Colony, Allahwala Town, P&T Colony, Qayyumabad A Area and B Area, Makhdoom Bilawal Society, Awami Colony, 36B Area recommended lockdown.

Other districts of Korangi including Moinabad, Kazimabad, Gulshan Jami, Jafar Bagh, Nishtar Square, Model Colony, Al-Falah, Malir Halt, Millat Garden, Millat Town, Civil Aviation Colony, Cantt Bazaar, Old Iqbalabad have also been added.

Lockdown has been proposed in Muhammad Ali Society and Bahadurabad area of ​​Gulshan Town and Block 14 in District East of Karachi while Essa Nagri, Gulshan Block 13A, B and C, Gulshan Jamal, Gulshan area of ​​the same district has been proposed to be sealed.

Areas of Gulshan Town include Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 7, Gulshan Block 11, Gulistan Johar Block 2, 14 and 15 including Sachal Goth and Safura Goth.

In District East, Askari 4, Rufi Lake Drive and Gulistan Johar Block 13 areas of Gulshan Town and PECHS Block 2, 6 and Jamshed Town areas, in Tariq Road, Balti Mohalla, Martin Quarter and Fatima Jinnah Colony have been suggested to seal.

Jahangir Road, Jamaat Khana, Teen Hatti and Soldier Bazaar areas of Jamshed Town have also been declared as hotspots and proposed to be sealed.

Gulshan-e-Maymar and Khuda Ki Basti in West Manghopir district of Karachi, Islamnagar, Saeedabad, Naval Colony of Baldia Town while Gharbi district including Metroville, Frontier Colony areas of Site Town are suggested to be on the watch list.

Some of the recommendations made by the district administration have been added to the watch list.

Among the districts included in the watch list are Kemari, Sultanabad and Bhatta Village in West District, Data Nagar of Orangi Town, Mujahid Colony, Aligarh, Gulfabad, Millatabad, New Population in Baldia Town, Muslim Mujahid Colony. , Afridi Colony, Sector L-1, 5C, D, 4B, C and 7A of Surjani Town.

Eleven hotspots have been identified in Southern District including Buzrata Line and Dolly Khata, Lee Market, Burns Road, MA Jinnah Road, Urdu Bazaar and Main Saddar, Agra Taj Colony and Bihar Colony, DHA Khayaban Badar and Khayaban Mujahid.

In Central District Gulberg Town, Joharabad, North Karachi’s Sector 11E, North Karachi’s Anarkali Market and others are recommended to be sealed.
