Forty members of PTI have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
According to the details, many members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have tested positive for COVID-19 while two have died.
The sources said that 15 members of the national assembly (MNAs) have been infected by coronavirus, while many members of the provincial assemblies (MPAs) of PTI tested positive for the novel virus.
Some popular faces include Shehryar Khan Afridi, Minister of State for Narcotics Control, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, and Speaker of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser.
Two PTI members have also died due to the disease, namely Jamshed Uddin Kakakhel and Shaheen Raza. Both were members of the provincial assemblies.
It is to be noted that 234,509 people have been infected with the virus, 4,839 patients have been died of COVID-19 while 134,957 people have been recovered.
