Case registered against Shaheen Air International

At Pakistan Civil Aviation’s request, a case was lodged against Shaheen Air International.

According to details, the case has been reported in FIA Corporate Crime Circle Cell Karachi for damaging and misusing the FIA.

Investigation revealed that Shaheen Airlines had filed a complaint against Pakistan Civil Aviation for failing to pay charges for flight operations.

The details revealed that in this case, Shaheen Air International Chairman Kashif Sehbai, CEO Ehsan Khalid Sehbai, Director, and other management members are listed as the defaulters.

Since March 2018, Shaheen Airlines has been indebted 1,4 billion Rs to surcharges, Kibror, and CAA.

The FIA initiated an investigation into the case against the nine accused named, Javed Karim Sehbai, Janat Sehbai, Yawar Mahmood Sehbai, Rashida Yaseen, and Hoshang Sadwa have been included in the case.

One of the accused named, Yawar Mahmood Sehbai, was arrested and is under F.I.A’s investigation

In August 2018, Shaheen Air International initially suspended flight operations and faced a mountain of debt. It continued to fight with the CAA and the tax authorities and was on-going until the end of September 2018, when it permanently terminated its operations.
