Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said that to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus, the cooperation of the masses is very important.
In his recent statement, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar also warned that violation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on Eid-ul-Adha will not be tolerated.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar while ordering strict implementation of SOPs issued for Eid-ul-Azha, urged masses to ensure social distancing and implementation of precautionary measures.
Usman Buzdar added that one has to learn to live with coronavirus by taking precautionary measures as no one knows how long the pandemic will last.
Chief Minister Punjab also directed relevant departments and institutions to ensure strict implementation of the coronavirus guidelines and said that there is no room for negligence.
Coronavirus Cases in Pakistan
Pakistan has confirmed 46 deaths in a single day by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 263,496. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 5,568.
Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the novel pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
