Marriage halls owners have announced to reopen the halls from July 10 in Quetta.
According to details, Quetta’s district administration had issued orders to close all wedding halls on March 13 for 15 days due to the spread of coronavirus. After every fortnight, the government would issue the same notification of keeping the halls closed for further fifteen days.
According to the Marriage Hall Association, Balochistan’s chief minister is not giving them time for a meeting and now will be forced to open the halls from July 10.
The Wedding Hall Association says that the government has opened all businesses in the province, including bazaar, hotel, and transport, so the opening of wedding halls under SOPs should also be allowed. 200 people will be invited to the hall with a capacity of 400 people. The buffet system will be abolished and tables will be set up at a distance of four feet and masks will have to be worn.
