Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has urged masses to make anti polio drive campaign successful by cooperating in every possible way.

In a recent statement on Monday, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said no child should be left Unadministered with polio drops.

The success of the polio campaign depends on the people and the polio workers, said Murad Ali Shah.

He advised that those children who were missed during the previous campaign, must be administered with drops this time.

I am sure people will do their best to protect their children from crippling disease, said Shah. We need to protect our children from the polio virus; he added.

Furthermore Murad Ali Shah said that Sindh must be polio free.

Let it be known that Anti Polio resumes in different areas of the country today.

In Karachi, drive to eradicate polio will be launched in specific towns including Baldia, Orangi, North Nazimabad and Liaquatabad, during which 260,000 children will be administered anti-polio vaccine.

In addition to this, a five-day anti-polio drive will be launched in 44 union councils of Punjab cities including Faisalabad and 14 union councils of Attock.

Anti-polio vaccine will be administered to a total of 317,783 children upto five years age.

A five day anti polio drive will also be launched in Balochistan, where in 10 union councils of Quetta will witness the campaign, during which more than one hundred ten thousand children up to five years of age would be administered anti-polio drops.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a five-day anti-polio campaign will begin in South Waziristan district , during which more than one hundred thousand children up-to five years of age will be administered anti-polio drops.

Moreover, amid the novel outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, all the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and precautionary measures will be in place during the campaign. Use of Masks and sanitizers while administering polio drops is mandatory for all the health workers.
