On Monday morning, weather of Karachi turned pleasant after heavy to moderate rain hit parts of Karachi.
According to the details, the downpour was reported in Malir, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, PECHS Society, Khudadad Colony, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Bhittabad, Safooran Goth, Sachal Goth, North Nazimabad, Baldia Town, Gulshan-e-Ghazi and other parts of the metropolis.
Soon after the rain, electricity was disconnected from several areas including Gulistan-e-Jauhar block 7, where the citizens are facing difficulties due to power shortage since last night.
On the other hand, the K-Electric (KE) has said that the staff is working to restore electricity in the rain affected areas.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted light showers in Karachi today. The temperature of the city was record at 31 degree centigrade early in the morning around 7 am.
Moreover, the humidity in the air was recorded at 40% in the port city, while the winds are blowing at 28 km per hour.
Islamabad twenty-five degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-six, Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-eight, Quetta twenty-four, Gilgit twenty, Murree seventeen and Muzaffarabad twenty-two degree centigrade.
On Sunday night, the weather in different parts of Karachi became pleasant due to light rain.

The weather in Karachi’s Shahrah-e- Faisal, Saddar, Clifton, D.H.A, Mahmoodabad and adjoining areas has improved with light rain.
However, the PMD said that the humidity in the westerly winds blowing at a speed of 29 km per hour in the city is 68 per cent.
