Prime Minister Imran Khan to chair federal cabinet meeting today.

According to the details, The meeting of the Federal Cabinet scheduled today at 12 noon, for which; a five-point agenda has been issued.

Several ministers will attend the meeting via video link.

The cabinet meeting will review the country’s security, political and economic situation, while measures to curb the spread of coronavirus on Eid-ul-Adha, as well as the implementation of decisions of the federal cabinet will be reviewed in the meeting.

The meeting will also approve the appointment of the Director-General of the National Institute of Electric Islamabad and the appointment of the DG of the Pakistan National Accreditation Council.

A report on the vacant posts of CEOs and MDs in all the divisions will be presented in the cabinet,  while the Cabinet will also ratify the decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee.

Earlier Presiding over a meeting of an economic think tank two days ago, the Prime Minister said that Coronavirus has highly affected the global economy, including Pakistan.
