Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s smart lockdown policy is being appreciated all over the world.

According to details, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood and Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar met Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi at the Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, the epidemic situation of Coronavirus in the country and issues of mutual interest were discussed.

On the occasion, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that despite its limited resources, the government had taken effective measures to curb the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic, which was showing positive results.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s smart lockdown policy is being appreciated all over the world. During Eid-ul-Adha, we need to ensure the implementation of safety guidelines so that we can better cope with this epidemic challenge.

The three ministers also held detailed consultations on August 5 to highlight the worst curfew in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the continuing human rights violations.

The overall political situation in the country was also discussed during the meeting.
