Prime Minister Imran Khan to chair federal cabinet meeting tomorrow.
According to the details, The meeting of the Federal Cabinet scheduled tomorrow at 12 noon, for which; a five-point agenda has been issued.
Several ministers will attend the meeting via video link.
The cabinet meeting will review the country’s security, political and economic situation, while measures to curb the spread of coronavirus on Eid-ul-Adha, as well as the implementation of decisions of the federal cabinet will be reviewed in the meeting.
The meeting will also approve the appointment of the Director-General of the National Institute of Electric Islamabad and the appointment of the DG of the Pakistan National Accreditation Council.
A report on the vacant posts of CEOs and MDs in all the divisions will be presented in the cabinet, while the Cabinet will also ratify the decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee.
Earlier Presiding over a meeting of an economic think tank two days ago, the Prime Minister said that Coronavirus has highly affected the global economy, including Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the government’s policy was to strike a balance between protecting the people from the epidemic and economic activities.
In addition to this, he also said that providing aid to the most backward sections of society is a top priority.
He said that the government’s Ehsaas program is of key importance for poverty alleviation.
Furthermore, the Ehsas program needs to expand to help the most deserving.
According to the latest disbursement figures of the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program, Rs 149.97 billion distributed to more than 12.39 million working people in Pakistan.
