PTA bans PUBG in Pakistan
Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has banned the game PUBG across Pakistan today....
The fate of online game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) will be decided tomorrow that is July 9th by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
PTA will decide if the ban on the game will be extended or removed for the use. According to details, the authority has issued a hearing notice to all respondents. The meeting will be held online due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier this month, PTA had banned the game temporarily after receiving numerous complaints against PUBG.
The game PlayerUknown’s Battlegrounds is developed by a South Korean company in 2017. The players are dropped onto an island to battle against others.
]The multiplayer game allows players from all over the world to compete in teams or against one another. Throughout the game, players attack and destroy each other and the higher you rate, the more you win. Thus far, it has garnered 34.2 million downloads worldwide.
