Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday said the federal government is not serious in taking action against culprits behind petrol crisis.

Non-submission of report on petrol crisis by inquiry committee is a hint that the matter is suspicious, he said.

The PML-N leader further said that the incumbent government is running with the help of mafias and mafias are working with the help of the government.

Earlier, the Lahore High Court (LHC) extended pre-arrest bail of PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif till July 16.

As per details, Lahore High Court heard assets beyond means case, and accepted Shehbaz Sharif’s plea requesting exemption from court proceedings.

During the hearing, the court asked that why he has not appeared before the court despite testing negative for the novel coronavirus.

After hearing detailed arguments of Shehbaz Sharif’s lawyer, the court extended the bail till July 16.
