A security official was martyred and three others were injured in a firing incident in Kech district of Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists opened fire on security personnel during a routine patrol in the Padarak area of Kech.
Lance Naik Javed Kareem Shaheed and 3 security personnel were injured in the firing.
The statement said that after the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
It should be noted that attacks on security forces in Balochistan are once again on the rise.
One person was killed and seven others were injured in a blast at a bazaar in the Balochistan city of Turbat on July 21.
The blast not only damaged nearby vehicles but also set some shops on fire.
According to police, the miscreants had installed an improvised explosive device (IED) on a motorcycle as they parked it outside shops in Turbat and blew it up.
Earlier on July 14, three youths were martyred and eight others were injured in a firing incident on security forces by terrorists in Panjgur.
The ISPR said the terrorists opened fire on a security forces patrol near Gichak Valley.
