Highlighting the importance of ties between the two countries, British Airways has announced to resume flight operations to Pakistan from August 14th, 2020.
According to details, the airline has decided to operate three direct flights from Heathrow Airport London and Islamabad a week. On August 14, the first flight of British Airways will land in Pakistan’s capital keeping the safety of its crew and passengers.
Before the resumption of flight operations, the British Airways, as per details, had written a letter to the Islamabad airport manager asking about the details of the arrangements at the airport.
Dr. Christian Turner, the British High Commissioner in Islamabad had decided the resumption of flight operations. He believed that the resumption of direct flights will help many travelers who travel between the two countries. Turner also showed gratitude towards Pakistan’s Government, British Airways, and team in Pakitan who have worked effortlessly to deliver this good news.
British Airways will operate the direct flight operations on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. According to the schedule, the flight will depart from London Heathrow Airport at 20:30 and will be landing at the Islamabad Airport at 04:20.
On the other hand, the flights from Islamabad are scheduled on alternate days; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The flight from Pakistan will leave at 06:15 and will arrive in London at 15:00.
