Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa calls on H.E Shukrullah Atif Mashal, Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan today (Aug 12) at GHQ.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), H.E Shukrullah Atif Mashal, Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan paid a farewell call on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff.

The sources of ISPR also said that the dignitary thanked COAS for support to Afghanistan and Afghan peace process during his tenure.

It is to be noted that during the meeting, matters of mutual interest and overall regional security situation were discussed.

Earlier on Monday, the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited the ISI headquarters.
