Finance Advisor Abdul Hafeez Sheikh has said that more funds were released today for the Kamyab Jawan Program in 2019.

According to details, Finance Advisor Abdul Hafeez Sheikh while addressing a press conference along with Special Assistant for Youth Affairs said that the government launched a Kamyab Jawan Program in 2019, which will provide loans to youth to grow small industries and businesses.

Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said that so far Rs. 1 billion has been given to 2,900 youths for this program while loan disbursement has been approved for another 7,500 youths.

The Finance Adviser also said that the youth program is being launched on a large scale, the limit of Rs. 5 million was fixed but now it has been increased by 25 million.

Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said that the loan amount has been increased and the interest rate has been halved, earlier only three banks were involved in this program and their number has been increased to 21.

The Finance Adviser also said that steps were being taken to increase the scope of the youth program and the people should take advantage of this facility.

Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said that the government gave relief of Rs. 200 billion to the industrial sector affected by Corona while more than 1.5 crore families were paid without any discrimination under Ehsaas program.

The finance adviser also said that confidence in Pakistan’s economy was being expressed globally and nationally, with Bloomberg and Moody’s calling Pakistan’s economy a stable economy.

Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said that the data improved in July, which gave us confidence, increased exports and tariffs, while increased consumption of cement and petrol and diesel.
